Hycean Genesis / Financial infrastructure

Finance forhydrogen infrastructure.

A proposed financial layer for Hycean’s cartridge network—connecting physical assets, commodity settlement, and future infrastructure financing.

Under development / Not an offering
01 / Planned capabilities

A financial framework built around real infrastructure.

Genesis is being developed to connect the physical cartridge network with the records and structures needed for future financing.

ASSET FINANCE

Structuring

Exploring financing structures tied to defined cartridge assets and eligible operating economics.

COMMODITY FLOWS

Settlement

A proposed framework for recording and settling hydrogen activity across a future network.

ASSET INTELLIGENCE

Reporting

Persistent asset identity and lifecycle records to support utilization tracking and future due diligence.

02 / Asset framework

One network.
Three distinct layers.

Physical infrastructure, hydrogen settlement, and proposed asset financing each serve a different role within the framework.

THE UNDERLYING ASSET

Cartridge

Reusable physical infrastructure.

Production cartridges are intended to carry persistent digital identities linking the asset to relevant lifecycle events.

THE COMMODITY LAYER

HYC

Proposed hydrogen settlement.

The intended commodity denomination for a future Hycean network. HYC is not Hycean equity and is not currently redeemable for hydrogen.

03 / Operating economics

Operating activity is the starting point.

The framework begins with customer hydrogen and service revenue, then accounts for the costs of keeping cartridge infrastructure in circulation.

This is a conceptual operating model, not an investor distribution or return forecast. Actual economics depend on validated asset performance, utilization, customer pricing, operating costs, legal structure, and market conditions.

04 / Asset records

Trace the asset.
Understand the activity.

The proposed record layer connects each cartridge’s identity with custody, utilization, and service events—supporting future reporting and settlement without publicly disclosing sensitive customer identities.

The physical basis of the model.

These sensitivities show physical hydrogen throughput as cartridge count and utilization increase. They are not revenue or return forecasts.

Illustrative sensitivity modeling only. Hycean has not yet operated a commercial cartridge fleet. Cartridge capacity, cycle life, utilization, operating costs, customer pricing, and commercial performance remain subject to prototype validation and real-world testing. These figures are not forecasts or promised results.

06 / Development pathway

From physical validation
to financial infrastructure.

Genesis develops alongside the hardware. Any future financial structure depends on validated assets, an appropriate legal framework, and evidence from real operations.

01

Validate the asset

Prototype, cycling, thermal, safety, and manufacturing validation.

02

Define the structure

Determine asset scope, economic rights, and the requirements of any future financing structure.

03

Establish the records

Develop asset identity, custody, lifecycle, and settlement records.

04

Build operating evidence

Use commissioned assets and measured activity to inform future financing and reporting.
